Vacuum circuit breakers are designed for switching electrical circuits in normal and emergency modes in three-phase alternating current networks with a rated voltage of 6-10 kV. The switches are installed in all developed complete switchgear (CRU, CRU, CSR), and are also used for the modernization of CRU cabinets in operation. The switch is controlled by a control unit of the BU/ELKO type, made in the form of a separate device electrically connected to the switch by means of detachable connections. Structurally, the switches have three drives with a "magnetic latch" installed in each phase and interconnected by a synchronization shaft. The kinematic drive is connected to the movable contact of the vacuum arc extinguishing chamber directly through an insulating rod.
